Bart Adam Young, born in Adel, Georgia, is an “Outlaw Country” singer/songwriter and recording artist. Growing up in a small Georgia town poor and “on the wrong side of the tracks” living the lifestyle that is the very premise of many “Outlaw Country Songs” has provided for such a truthful and soulful story to be told through Bart’s music. Whether you like the specific genre or not, Bart has an ability not experienced by many artist’s, in that, his voice will literally stop you in your tracks and turn anyone listening into instant fans regardless of their musical preferences. Whether he is singing an original song, or covering a song written by another outlaw country artist or a southern rock band, one thing is certain, it will be unique, and you will be blown away.
Bart’s musical career began on the dirt roads of South Georgia where he began playing the local music scene around the age of 16. From there, Bart’s career has taken him to places he could have never dreamed including two record deals, but everyone around him always expected. After Bart’s brother, Brett, chased down, multi-platinum rock icon, Kid Rock’s, tour bus and gave Kid Rock a CD of Bart’s music, the expectations of many became Bart’s reality when Kid Rock signed Bart to a record deal with Kid Rock’s own label of Top Dog Records. Since, Bart’s live performances have included shows with Kid Rock in Detroit, Louisville, Atlanta and many more along with playing birthday parties for Kid Rock in Puerto Rico and Pamela Anderson in Malibu. He also performed at a KZLA fundraiser in Los Angeles where he was joined in the line-up by Kid Rock, Leann Rimes, Trick Pony and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
Bart has written and recorded/performed songs with Kid Rock, David Allan Coe, Edwin McCain, and many more. After a couple year’s hiatus from the music business, Bart is returning to finish what he started, for himself, and the many fans that still hit the dirt roads with a BAY Bootleg Series CD blaring through the speakers just waiting on an opportunity to catch a live show and hear a true “outlaw country” experience. Although Bart’s career has changed dramatically from poor, small town prodigy playing small bars to performing shows in front of 30,000 people and standing ovations, one thing still holds true about Bart Adam Young, he will be blowing people away no matter the crowd or the venue.

“There’s not too many people I’ve seen who can sit down with a guitar and sing a song they wrote and blow somebody away. And that’s what I’ve seen with this kid, no matter where I’ve taken him. I’ve had him open with me in Louisville, and Detroit, other odd places, just him and a guitar on a stool with a piano, and he’s blowing these people away. And it’s kind of amazing to step in front of my crowd and be able to do that.”
“I couldn’t believe it. I was thinking to myself, my God, this man’s one of the best singers I’ve heard in my life. What Bart’s got isn’t something somebody gave him, it’s something in him, born there.”
